How to fold a pop up shower tent

Step 1: Remove the floor

Remove the polyethylene floor by removing the clips in each corner and taking it out. Remove dust and dirt by giving it a good shake or wiping it off with a towel.

Fold the polyethylene floor 3 to 4 times or until it’s small enough to fit in the bag.

Step 2: Take out all the poles

Remove all the poles that you used to set up the tent. Start by removing the poles outside the tent and working your way in to the poles at the top of your tent.

Disconnect the poles and pack them in the bag to avoid losing or damaging them.

Step 3: Flatten the tent

Grab one corner of the tent and push it across to the other corner so the tent is flat.

Then, fold the tent lengthwise so that the tent is only as wide as one panel.

Step 4: Fold and twist

Hold the base of the shower tent and position it at a 45-degree angle so that the other end of the tent touches the ground.

Then, simply walk forward so that the tent start to fold to a letter “C”. Then twist the base of the tent until it rolls itself in place creating a frisbee shape.

You should end up with a flat circular shape, the same shape it was before you set it up.

If you haven’t tried this step before, you may struggle a little bit. It takes a little bit of practice to master the folding and twisting.

To make the twist part simpler to comprehend, just remember to hold both sides of the base. Then, bring your left hand past an imaginary midline and your right hand over your left. This should result in the circular shape you are trying to create.

Step 5: Put it inside the bag

Lastly, put it inside the bag so it doesn’t pop back up. And don’t forget to put in the poles and the polyethylene floor as well.

Conclusion

As you can see, folding your popup shower tent is as simple as following these 5 simple steps. Remove the floor and the poles, flatten the tent, fold and twist, and put it inside the bag.

The only challenging part is the folding and twisting. But once you master it, everything else should be a walk in the park.

Once the tent is all done, you just need to pack up your camp shower or portable toilet and you're finished. Happy camping!
